Is "Gay Marriage" The Real Issue?

So I get on Facebook today and I see all these "=" signs out there. Now some people seem to just blindly "like" anything that has a logo.  This man, not so fast. After researching the symbol of equals I came to the truth finally..."gay marriage."

The fact that the lame stream media has taken up this issue again is no surprise. We are a nation that is so preoccupied with political correctness and everybody having every right that can be dreamed up, that this is news?

I made up my mind a long time ago on this issue. Marriage is a heterosexual institution. This is not to put down homosexuals, marriage is what it is a man and a woman legally contracted to each other for the purpose of propagating the next generation.  Everything else is secondary, including sex.

If two people want to be together, man and woman, man and man, woman and woman, transgender to male with transgender to female, go for it. Live long and prosper. Next we will be debating what is a ceiling and what is a floor.

Nowhere in the US Constitution is marriage a defined or protected right. No clause, no amendment, no article, nothing!  Marriage among all cultures past and present has been heterosexual for reproductive purposes and family building. Some marriages are arranged, others by consenting men and women, and some one man and several women or one woman and several men. All heterosexual unions. Yes the polygamists beat the gays to the argument. Sorry LTBG folks.

So call homosexual unions what you want to. Civil unions, sex partnerships, same sex attractants, whatever. Marriage is unique and no law can change the fundamental definition of marriage. Most people are not gay and even if they are for "gay marriage" will associate marriage with heterosexual couples before homosexual. That is how ingrained it is in the human mind and existence.

So with so much at stake such as national debt, our enemies abroad, genocide, our national security, etc. we take up the oxymoron of "gay marriage."

God help us all. We need it.
